What we're looking for

A hands-on Customer facing Applications Engineering Lead who will be responsible for integrating Conifer products in customer applications, generate feedback for design teams and become subject matter expert for customers and market facing teams

Job Responsibilities:

• Create integrated solutions using Customer applications and Conifer products. Design mating parts, configuring software and ensuring product works to specification. Test and validate operation.
• Based on above exercise, provide Customer driven feedback to internal Design teams on design improvements
• Create Engineering marketing content with tear down videos on applications, explaining how the product works compared to competition
• Become the subject matter expert for Customers, sharing ways to integrate Conifer’s product best in customer applications
• Travel to Customer site and be the point of contact for all Technical Discussions

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. No additional job experience needed
• Strong first principles understanding of mechanical loading, failure modes, materials and material processing
• Prior experience using CAD
• Prior knowledge of Machining and quick prototyping processes
• Experience in Measurement, validation software automation

What will you achieve in the first year @ Conifer?

• Establish relationship will top tier OEMs across India and Asia.
• Integrated Conifer products in at least 10 applications (From two-wheelers, to agricultural equipment to HVAC units to Industrial automation systems)
• Created a measurement and validation process to confirm what a successful integration in customer products look like
• Written 3 whitepapers for Customers in specific areas to understand best ways to make use of Conifer products
