In the 20th century, we made it orders of magnitude faster to move goods, people or machines. A journey that used to take hours on a horse cart, took mins in an automobile. Goods that took months to transport from coast to coast, took hours on a plane. Operations that were impossible to do by hand, started getting done within seconds. All of this was made possible by often overlooked energy conversion machines that are so ubiquitous that even 4yr olds know what they are, i.e. Engines and Motors. While life changing, operating these machines have led to complex trade dependencies, unsustainable climate practices and even wars. There are a billion+ gas engines and motors running at poor efficiency and being a drag on our grid today.

So in this century, we have seen a collective desire to live more sustainably. We will thus see most of the physical infrastructure around us become Electrified and Automated. Electrification enables countries to be energy independent while using sustainable means to power all that moves. Automation is required for us to scale. But Sustainability hiding behind subsidies, rare materials and complex & expensive manufacturing processes is not sustainable in itself! Unfortunately the current technologies powering today’s electrification and automation are rife with these issues…

So to truly realize our Electrification and Automation journey, we need to reimaginie the workhorses behind them - engines and motors. This new breed of Electric Engines and High Efficiency motors should use ubiquitously available materials, have simple and cost effective manufacturing process and should easily integrate with customer equipment

This is why Conifer exists.

We are building Electric Powertrains & Motors that makes sustainability happen without breaking the bank. Powered by our unique patented system and manufacturing process, we will make powering Small Mobility, Robotics, HVAC and so many more applications efficient, affordable and fun. The company was started by repeat founders and industry veterans from Apple, Lucid, and Tesla, bringing a wealth of experience and innovation to the electric mobility sector.
